Spicy Sriracha-buttered popcorn. Because why not put sriracha on everything? I’m part of the foodie camp that believes everything is better with sriracha.
I love having friends over for movies and popcorn, but sometimes I want to add a little extra flavor and spice to the traditional movie-time snack. This is quick and easy to make just before your guests arrive. I recommend eating this right away, because if you try to keep it for a day, the popcorn becomes soggy. That most likely won’t be a problem, as my sriracha popcorn doesn’t last the night before everyone’s polished it off.
Ingredients:
- 10 cups popped popcorn (or just pop a bag of your favorite buttered microwave popcorn)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
Directions:
- In a sauce pan, melt the butter on medium heat until fully melted.
- Whisk in sriracha sauce until fully incorporated into the butter.
- Put the popcorn in a large bowl and toss while drizzling with sriracha butter sauce.
