For those who want some easy comfort food, this easy slowcooker recipe is sure to satisfy. A hot bowl of this is comforting on a cold day, and it makes great leftovers. It’s so easy anyone can do it, and all you need is a crockpot. I like to think of this dish as grown-up beanie weenies, but if you want to make it sound more fancy, you can tell people it’s a cassoulet. It also makes a great side dish for barbeques instead of the standard baked beans, making it perfect for outdoor summer grilling.
