Kale is a delightful ingredient, which is chock full of antioxidants. It can be used in casseroles, salads, smoothies, and tastes great. Pan-frying kale is quick and easy, for when you want a hot veggie dish instead of a cold salad. Here’s my recipe for some tasty kale with an extra bit of crunch and a wonderful garlic taste.
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of Kale, ribs removed
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Wash the kale, remove the ribbing and chop.
- Put the oil in a pan and set to medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is heated, toss the garlic in and stir for 30 seconds to prevent burning, then add kale.
- Toss kale in pan with a slotted spoon for 1 to 2 minutes, or until kale is crispy. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve up!
